The Annual General Meeting of the Jamaica College Alumni of Florida was held as scheduled on the 13th of August 2006 in Miramar. At this meeting general elections were conducted, the results of which are as follows:

Although the attendance was much less than desired, those present participated fully and with true ?Fervet? enthusiasm.

We are sensitive to the fact that ongoing communication with the entire Jamaica College fraternity is imperative to our existence and growth. Please therefore expect to receive regular updates, and we anticipate increasing levels of support and participation in the activities of our Alumni association.

In closing I would like to thank our first group of directors, and in particular our outgoing president, Xavier Murphy. These gentlemen put in significant amounts of time and energy to establish the association and lay a solid foundation for future growth. Thank you gentlemen.
