Welcome to the of the Jamaica College Old Boys Association of Florida website. The JCOBAFL was founded May 2004 by 10 past students who are loyal to the school that shaped us in the men we are today. There is a large population of Jamaica College Old Boys who live in Florida and we believe that this can be a vibrant association where we can make a difference at Jamaica College, rekindle old friendships, network and also have some fun.
As many of you know Jamaica College has always produced some of Jamaica’s most influential and distinguished leaders in every area of the Jamaican society. These leaders are not confined just to Jamaica as many past students continue to make the College proud as they excel in their area of profession abroad. It is our responsibility to continue this legacy.
One of our main goals is to return Jamaica College as one of the foremost institution in Jamaica so that the school continues the personal, intellectual & physical development of powerful men who will make a difference in today’s society. We believe a strong chapter will accomplish this goal and many others.
Your participation and support will be essential as we move forward in growing a vibrant chapter in Florida. We hope you will join us as we continue to proclaim the motto of the school we love…Fervet Opus in Campis (Work is burning in the fields).
